Anna is the founder of Earth Tones Floral—born and raised in colorful Colorado, her floral career began at 18, working at a humble mom & pop shop in Wheat Ridge. The job was mostly carnations, daisies and perfecting the hand-made ribbon bow; she was instantly mesmerized with the natural beauty and expression of floral design. Little did she know this would be the genesis to a life-long passion.
Flash to 2018, she founded Earth Tones with a desire to honor each client with her artistic perspective on floral design and fondness for human connection. In the seven years since, Earth Tones has come into full bloom—illuminating Colorado weddings with a unique balance of free spirit and contemporary beauty. If she’s not in the studio slangin’ stems, you can find her exploring the mountains, in the craft room working on her latest hobby, or perched on the porch sipping local coffee and reading through a stack of books.
Lucas is the CEO and chief-coordinator of logistics and operations—with a full time side hustle keeping Anna on task and well caffeinated. An East Coast gentleman, raised in Maryland, he puts his full heart into each project, by combining a concise attitude and rich spirit. An alumni of the University of Pittsburgh, he adventured around the country before landing firmly in CO, the state he’s proudly called home for more than a decade now. You’ll see Lucas quite literally everywhere on your big day: unloading, offloading, coordinating our team with the venue and vendors. When it’s not wedding season, you can find Lucas behind the wheel, headed towards top secret camping spots and hot springs, walking and hiking with his better half, or at home gaming and nesting with his pack-mates.
Anna & Lucas met by cosmic chance in Autumn 2017, through the window of a flower shop in Boulder, Colorado; the time since is a story full of serendipity, true love and, of course, many, many flowers.
